Money Glutton

They stay weary at first, not wanting to spend it all, but comfortable enough to relax their budget a little. They always start by getting a simple gold chain, nothing crazy, but enough to show their new status. Soon they begin to worry a little less and less about their bank, finding themselves indulging a little more, not caring about spending extra dollars. They never consider this mindset could be their undoing.
They don't realize how their eating habits change, finding themselves going out to eat more and constantly surrounded by the excess food at home. Their care-free attitude slips into their diet, easing their worries as they don't pay attention to what food goes into their body. Burgers, shakes, donuts, anything goes now as part of their life. They have the capacity to worry about it later.
They don't think twice when they start outgrowing their old clothes. They have the money to buy new ones, blaming the wash for shrinking them. They care less about exercise and working out, knowing they have the dollars to keep them attractive. They can't see their bodies swelling, their new weight eating a hole in their pocket as their bills start turning directly into pounds of fat.
Soon the only thing that brings them happiness is food, their larger stomach forcing them to keep gorging themselves. The sky is the limit with their accounts, never stopping to reconsider appetizers or desserts again. They just keep growing fatter and fatter, the gold chain on their thickening neck now symbolizing their enslavement to gluttony rather than their wealth. After all, it's the only thing they've been able to wear through all of it.
