Barging In
Added 2023-08-24 00:00:08 +0000 UTCYour dad always used to barge into your room when you were younger, no knock no nothing. He wasn't always as big as he was now though. You weren't sure why he had started to gain weight, but you were pretty sure it had to do with his habit.
He had begun growing after one of your worst arguments. You had escaped to your room after, locking the door behind you. He couldn't have gotten angrier when you wouldn't unlock it for him, at which point he started trying to use his weight to break the door down. He never succeeded that night, his body too light.
That was when he started eating. He almost seemed to grow bigger each day. His body quickly plumped up to a massive size, his belly permanently hanging in front of him visible underneath almost all of his shirts. His face was barely recognizable, his jaw lost under the new fat as his cheeks rounded with pudge. A beard could barely hide it. The next time you locked your door, he managed to break through it with his new weight, giving you the hell he thought you deserved.
You thought you'd be able to keep him at bay after that by bracing yourself against the door to keep him from getting in, but that only seemed to drive him to gain even more weight. Soon he no longer had any clothes that could fit him in the house, his massive figure walking around like a moving mound of fat. His entire body rippled with every step he took.
Now you had no chance at keeping him out of your room. He'd barge in every night just to make sure your door was unlocked, his giant figure taking up the entire doorway looming above you. He was the big man of the house, and made sure you knew that.
