You were surprised to see a new roommate when you went over to your friend's house. The first thing you noticed when you walked in however was the smell. It reminded you of an old locker room, the taste of stale sweat flooding the air. It felt like the door had been shut for too long. It wasn't until you walked into the living room you found an older gentleman sitting next to your friend on the couch, the man residing shirtless relaxing on the cushions.
Your friend looked up with a smile, starting to speak before the man suddenly interrupted.
"Why don't you go get us some beer, boy" He said gruffly to your friend, speaking over him.
You were speechless. Your friend never put up with anything like that before, telling anyone else to do it themselves. You were shocked watching your friend immediately hop up, obediently following the order heading into the kitchen.
You suddenly felt like a stranger in the house as the man's attention turned to you for the first time. Despite his outwardly fluffy appearance, you felt something cold about him as he offered you to sit down next to him.
You remained standing, trying to figure out the situation. "I don't think we've met", you said, finally deciding to introduce yourself.
"Nice to meet yah son," He replied, standing up. "You can call me Pop."
He stretched out his hand.
You barely nodded while reaching out to grip it, wondering if he was related to your friend. "So are you family?"
He shooked his head. "Nah, I'm just his new roommate" The man said with a smile.
Your stomach sank. Your friend only had one bedroom, which made the situation even more strange.
You'd been standing close enough to the stranger to realize the smell in the house must have been coming from him. His skin was a dense carpet that must have soaked in his sweat, trapping its scent to his body. He looked like he could have been a gym teacher or ex-jock, his body looking to have been built at some point, but since filled out with padding giving him a solid round appearance.
Your friend came back into the room with three beers, interrupting the moment and handing one to each of you. You took a sip of the bottle for a break from the situation, your gaze locked on your friend as he followed suit.
There seemed to be something off about your friend's eyes. It was like they weren't focused, his stance unstable, aloof like his mind wasn't really there. Your nose picked up the smell of the room from him too, almost like he'd been infected with it by simply living there.
The stranger placed a hand on your back, giving your body a shake. You were surprised at how relaxed your body was. Your muscles felt weaker, not having enough strength to push back against the movement. The smell of the house was suddenly much more intense, almost like it had seeped into your body following the beer. Like it was in the beer.
You dropped the bottle as a wave of dizziness hit you, your head suddenly feeling drunk. The smell of the room was strong in your nostrils as though it were coming up from inside you. It felt like it was moving directly into your skull, consuming your thoughts and making you lose focus. A sedative to make you daddy's obedient boy as you felt its effect start to take hold.
