Growing Husband

He thought it would be an easy life, that his husband would take care of him, not realizing instead how much effort he'd have to put into caring more for his husband and their house. His day was filled with chores, laundry, cooking and cleaning that kept him in the house all day.
It wasn't long before Ed started packing on the pounds, stuck inside all day with no exercise. It wasn't a surprise how fast he began growing out of his clothes. Every day he looked in the mirror his body seemed to grow wider, new curves developing where he hadn't noticed before. His gut spilled over his waist, going further and further lower below the love handles attached to his bulging waist.
His shorts had grown so tight it was much easier to go around the house without them on, soon joined by the rest of his clothes. He used to be so prideful of his body, making sure to shave it every day. Now he thought it was a mistake, his curves exposed, naked to the air. His entire day became a workout fighting with his new weight. It wasn't enough for him to lose it, only tiring himself out. Each day ended with him not wanting to do anything but lounge around and eat.
The most surprising thing was how much his husband seemed to enjoy it, wanting to cuddle with his new pillow of a partner the moment they were home. Ed felt embarrassed as his husband pointed out all the things he liked that Ed was insecure about, the husband's hands pulling at his body in places he didn't expect could be grabbed. Ed couldn't stop it though, continuing to get bigger and rounder, his husband's love for him growing even more.
