Construction Gain

He had been the largest on the team, his muscles solid beef through and through. But never having paid attention in class, he was left with no other path than construction.
He quickly became apart of the crew, looked at enviously by the other men. His body didn't last long though. All his previous athletic training had been cut out, replaced with binging food and beer after work with the rest of the men. The new calories took a toll, fat quickly replacing his existing mass fast. His belt struggled against the giant belly that began pushing out above it. His XL shirts were no longer enough big for his growing bulk, and with the rest of his paycheck taken by food he had no means to replace them.
Soon enough, Marc was arriving to work shirtless stuck with no other option. The only means of covering himself was the hi-viz shirts provided, barely doing anything to hide his hulking mass beneath it. Still he continued to grow, filling out the loose material, his stomach moving the zipper further and further forward. It didn't take long for his midriff to become constantly visible, hanging out below it, his wide frame pushing against the covering and threatening to spill out. It all didn't matter to Marc, though, he was used to being big from the start.
