Smoked Out

Zac struggled to think. He didn't know why it was so hard to think. He'd have started putting thoughts together before they vanished from his mind like smoke in the air, finding himself grasping at nothing.

He was shirtless. He didn't know why he was shirtless. He didn't know why he was wearing some strange leather around his waist or wrists. His body felt heavy, swaying from side to side. He felt massive. He couldn't recall ever being this massive. He didn't recognize his body looking down at it, huge shoulders and chest, hair running over every curve.

Zac didn't realize his fingers were fidgeting until he looked back in front of him, seeing them holding a pipe and struggling to open a small can. It felt like he wasn't in control of them, the digits acting on habit to pull off the cap and stuff the pipe with tobacco. In a moment his hands brought out a lighter, bringing the pipe to his face to pull in the flame.

Zac tried to assure himself this was right. He watched cross-eyed as the tip of the pipe slotted itself into his mouth, the flame dancing across the bowl making smoke begin to roll from his lips.

Zac immediately felt a wave of chemicals rush through his head as his gums drew in the heat, quickly numb from the flavor of the smoke. He closed his eyes to relax in the sensation, feeling his cumbersome thoughts washed away from his mind. He opened his eyes, continuing to puff away on the pipe. What was he thinking about again? He shrugged. He was sure he'd remember later.
