Nick finally managed to purchase his own couch for his place. He'd been saving up, ready to fill the space he owned with furniture he'd bought. The one mistake he made was not buying any pillows for the seat, thinking the existing sofa pads would be enough support. His body begged to differ.
Whether he felt it or not, his body struggled to get comfortable on the couch. As he started spending spend all his time lounging on it, however, his body began to change. His figure had started to expand into the space packing on weight. It wasn't long before a spare tire had wrapped around his waist, removing the distance between him and the back of the sofa. Two love handles had appeared at the sides of his growing stomach, supporting his sides.
He never noticed the changes. He thought the seat was growing more and more comfortable, not realizing how his body sank further and further into his seat due to his expanding stomach in front of him. It had become a permanent fixture, surrounding his torso as a personal cushion. It had even started growing its own cover, a warm fur coat that kept him insulated.
Soon enough his body was its own pillow. He had grown plush enough to support himself, his figure softer and wider for his own comfort.
