Hudson was surprised he managed to find a Western themed store, trying to find a place to buy a costume for an upcoming party. He couldn't imagine anyone was still buying some outdated farmwear, but knew it would be perfect place to look for an outfit.
He was impressed by the selection of authentic cowboy hats, but couldn't hold his laughter when he found the belt section with absurdly large belt buckles. He didn't know how anyone could seriously wear some of the articles of clothes here, but was happy he could find what he wanted. He managed to make it to the dressing room with what he found along with jeans and a button-down shirt, something he felt a cornfed fieldhand would wear.
He couldn't imagine how silly he would look, his svelte hairless body far from the stereotype. He was shocked when he pulled on the shirt however given how good it looked on him. He turned around in the mirror, a strange fuzzy feeling tingling where it touched his skin. The neck felt way too tight, forcing him to unbutton it revealing dark curls of body hair. Something seemed wrong about it, but somehow felt his look suited him, made him fit the part better. Maybe he could pull off the look after all.
He quickly put on the hat, feeling the same fuzziness on his face. He turned back to the mirror, admiring how well the hat paired with his mustache and patchy beard, framing his wide cheeks. He'd always had this much baby fat, right? He couldn't care less, too excited to finish the look. He pulled on the jeans, quickly sinching the foolish belt around the waist. He had trouble buckling it, his stomach seeming to get in his way, but finally he managed.
Looking in the mirror he was glad he had picked out such a large buckle, it barely peeked out below his soft hanging gut. Seeing him like this brought a smile to his chubby face, clueless to any change other than the outfit. He quickly snapped a picture of himself, posting it in the group chat excited to show it off at the event.
