General Service

Joe had just been discharged from the military. His aged face was familiar, his body changed. He had grown thicker, his muscles bulging out of his uniforms with a buzz cut that framed his heavy face. Something seemed off about him though. He seemed to not remember much of his service, always shrugging off and saying he couldn't really recall it. I thought maybe the work he did was classified, but when you looked into his eyes there was no recollection, only the panic of not knowing the answer either.

We had been close friends before, but now that he was back home living alone I made sure to visit him and keep him company. I kept him up on the news to keep him from feeling left out. We had been talking at his place when I mentioned a new line dancing bar that had dances for the boys.

He looked at me quizically, as if something was wrong, before asking what I meant by "dance for the boys".

I looked at him for a minute before laughing.

"Oh, I don't mean dance for only men. It's just a dance for the general"

As I finished my words he stood up, his eyes wide. I looked at him confused as he stood for a moment, his gaze unfocused in the distance. I was about to say something when he started pulling off his clothes. His shirt disappeared, dropping off his body revealing his thick arms and solid gut he had grown in the military. He stepped closer, his groin directly in front of me as he began revolving, running his hands up and down his body before pulling at his waist and dropping his pants.

I was shocked, unable to do anything watching my friend turned into a mindless dancer. He stepped out of his discarded clothes, turning his body away from me, moving to a rhythm that wasn't there. I sat speechless as he turned around, flexing and exposing himself with absolutely no awareness of his body. My breath caught in my throat as I watched him, his movements hypnotic and entrancing. I had no choice as I waited for him to finish, wondering what I should tell him now that I knew what his service was.
