Wilson had worked so hard to get his body beach ready for vacation, spending all year to get his stomach and body toned. He was excited to show off his hard work on the trip, being able to bask in the sun for hours without a care.
He couldn't have been prepared for the luxury of his all-inclusive resort. Aside from the spa's free services and high-end venue, the buffet was open all day with the richest food available. Having starved himself all year he couldn't stay away. He spent almost all of his first day gorging himself on the five-star food, going back for seconds, thirds, not realizing how many calories were in each tiny plate. By the time he woke up the next day, his stomach had already packed away yesterday's feast, starving to fill the empty room.
His routine became the same for the rest of the week, filling his stomach up all morning before crashing in the sun. He wouldn't be able to move once he lay down. His stomach was heavy, using up all his energy to process the food until it was ready to be filled with more. It would repeat for lunch and dinner, ending with a full stomach lulling him off to sleep as it began to fatten him up.
He didn't realize it was happening until his shirts and shorts were much tighter than before. He noticed his paunch had returned, beginning to round out, spilling over his belt and under his shirts. He was putting back all the weight he had lost, but it was already too late to stop. His routine had increased his appetite, an uncontrollable hunger settling in whenever his stomach needed to be filled.
It wasn't long before his elastic swim trunks were the only thing he brought that fit anymore, his body unable to fit in the rest of his clothes. He was forced to accept this was the way his body was meant to be, constantly filled with food becoming a soft plush cushion for his comfort. There was no way he could hide it anymore, a symbol of human indulgence for the rest of the guests. He wouldn't be able to go back once he got home, getting comments from his coworkers as he packed on pounds for the rest of his life.
