Anthony had been excited when he'd bought a new mattress, a huge discount due to an immediate resale of one recently purchased. The man selling it was huge, trying to sell him more pillows telling Anthony that the bed needed at least 3. Anthony declined the offer, only interested in the mattress.
He managed to get it in his house, surprised to see the same warning the man had given him on its tag. Anthony rolled his eyes, he only had two pillows but definitely didn't need a third. He put on the sheets and got in, amazed at how soft the mattress felt. He fell asleep in it with only his two pillows, his dreams turning to the imaginary third pillow.
It was a strange dream, the clouds like cotton slowly wrapping him before filling his body up. He swelled in it, filling out like a pillow full of plush, barely able to move. He woke feeling much heavier, his body seeming to be weighed down by something covering it.
His chest felt strange, he could feel its softness and warmth. He felt heavy, his arms being able to move but not without effort. He looked down, his hands resting on a giant pillow. He felt its softness, his hands easily sinking in. He felt a chill as he realized it was his body, his chest and stomach having become as cushiony as in the dream. He quickly grabbed his phone, taking a selfie to see the damage.
He saw himself in the camera, and his body took up the whole frame. It had grown huge and round, with rolls of fat that moved as he shifted his weight. His body may as well have been a ball of dough that filled into the entire bed, a new pillow to take up the available space.
