Howard was persistent, sticking to his diet and exercise regime every month. He had always been masculine, easily able to grow a full beard while his body was covered his hair. It was one of the many qualities he relished about himself, something he felt made him better than everyone around him.
He had watched as all his acquaintances had slowly let themselves go, no longer taking care of their bodies and becoming fat livestock that may as well have been on farms. He'd always had the prejudice in him since school, seeing fat nerds with no accomplishments, always face in books with glasses since their eyes had been used so negligently.
He never wanted to have anything in common with them, but his hopes had been crushed when his company got vision insurance. Each member had to have a sight test for the company to qualify, and on the end of that day he was holding a prescription for his eyesight that had slowly been going over the years. At least with the company plan, it was free.
He felt defeated when they finally arrived, his sight much better with them on. He ended up falling asleep still wearing them, which was when the rest of the changes began. His body grew as he slept, turning into a soft pillow as it slowly packed on fat in place of his muscles. He slowly sank lower into the bed as his body changed, a rising ball of dough growing heavier and heavier. When he finally finished he may as well have been a giant teddy, fat rolls of lard wrapping around his body.
He woke with a start, confused why everything around him felt so soft. He panicked once he realized he could barely move, struggling to sit up in bed and unable to roll. It felt like a giant weight had been placed on his chest, a giant pillow that he could barely wrap his arms around that were thicker than he remembered. He managed to grab his phone, pulling up the camera to reveal just what had happened.
He looked up in shock, taking in the massive mass his body had turned into. He felt his cheeks burning with shame as he looked at himself. He knew he'd always laughed at those with this body, and now here he was, exactly like them.
