Hello loves
Greetings from Sydney.
I’m sending my love all around the world to every one of you today. My friends in America: it really isn’t a good scene, is it. It has felt like an ongoing case of the wheels falling off the bus for a long time, now it feels like the bus is driving with no wheels, no driver, and no bus.
What to do? Pay attention, keep your head on straight, be true to your community, your friends and your family…and make art, make food, make good, make patience. As Leonard said: forget your perfect offering. Just let your flawed self show up every single day.
It was 107 degrees here the other day, and I….loved it. I am a lizard.
I know I am weird, but I thrive in the heat.
Also, the coffee in Australia is really, really good.

It’s been a second since I posted.
Deep in tour - it’s been a wild one, I’ll tell you all later - and in management meetings/work….
but taking a moment and sending a sign of life and a photo of someone’s hand-knitted pizza rat purse from the Sydney show the other night.

Thank you so so much to everybody who came - PLEASE: upload any show photos to the app chat (NZ/OZ thread) and/or if you got good shots or video, comment here and I’ll get in touch with a good place to send them.
Please keep photos from the show off socials til I’m done with the Melbourne show, just to keep things simple. I’ll holler.
I have so so much to share but it’s gonna take a sec. Large Althing coming, and a tour-wrap up….See you soon, Melbourne.
A couple posts from the socials, if you missed them….

Yeah nah yeah, they say here in Godzone. Schrödinger's World. Either absolutely everything is a profound poetic coincidence, or absolutely nothing is.
Two days in a row, boom boom like two heavy boots walking down two fragile wooden stairs, I had two of the most important twin-matching and life-altering conversations I've yet had. I'd planned neither of them, and the conversations weren't aware of one another, they could not have been.
Does it all mean something?
Does it all mean nothing?
The answer is Yes.
Doesn't matter, anyway. I'm a poet, not a scientist.
My only job is to write it all down and point it all out.

Ray. When you're on a roadtrip to uncover your past and your future and someone offers to loan you a car masquerading as a Time Machine, you say YES.
And dammit, just missed the 1,111 mark here

true that.
I love you all so much.
More soon.
XA
