Added 2021-01-24 21:22:32 +0000 UTCStarlight has found out a way to get the mysterious stallion at work to flip his name tag over. But for some reason, I feel this is a friendship building of fairly like minds.
Admittedly in panel one, when Starlight says, "I like your big truck" it was innuendo for something else...
In early concepts this comic was going to show Gray being interested in cars, like how Starlight loves her Volvere. He was going to comment on it and they were going to chat about it. Starlight's comment complimenting his truck is a remnant of that early episode edition. Instead the comic changed direction to have them build in a slightly different way of having Gray flip his name tag around so readers could see his name. It was left somewhat vague so the reader will hopefully assume they continue talking during their lunch break and build a relationship that will continue to grow over time.
Now the real question is, does Starlight like stallions with stubble or without? ;-)
