Your Opinions In An RPG Setting
Added 2020-09-26 00:08:12 +0000 UTCIn a possible upcoming episode, we are toying with the idea of Spike, Vinyl, and Lyra playing an RPG game. This RPG would take place in a medieval-fantasy setting if you will. That leaves us with the typical tropes such as a warriors, dwarves, sneaky thieves, archers, mages, plus many I didn't name, etc. So what would you view Spike, Vinyl and Lyra as? How would Spike, Vinyl, and Lyra craft their characters? We want your opinions before we finalize character designs.
Right now we are leaning towards Spike being a warrior for some reason, being much bigger than his actual self. Vinyl and Lyra is more of a tossup. We have Lyra as a bard who sneaks and listens, but is also quite crafty. We have Vinyl as maybe an archer? But we want one of them to be good with magic! There is so many possibilities. Heck, if you can think of a fourth character that would fit in with them, post it below! We want to hear from you.

Good, good! I like this. Yeah, I remember that episode with Spike being seen as a buff warrior dude. It swayed the opinion for sure. :) Thanks for the input on Lyra too. Do you have thoughts about Vinyl and what she could be?
2020-09-26 23:40:58 +0000 UTCI'd definitely agree with Spike being a big warrior; I know you don't rely much on show canon, but I think his fantasies in "A Dog and Pony Show" are reason enough. I could see Lyra being some manner of mage who has specialized in spells that have interesting effects (rather than the normal selection of spells that make enemies die as quickly as possible).
