Are You Part of Other Fandoms? Are we the Fandom?

Okay, I'm going to be straight with you. Even though we make MLP based comics, I've never really felt I was part of the "fandom." It's there and you know the people who are a part of it. But I've never really joined it myself. I feel this series and us are on the outlier. Does that makes sense? We don't join fandom things, we are never mentioned when people think of fandom comics. I've personally always viewed it as use sort of blazing our own little trail and and doing our own thing. I've never met someone in the fandom personally who had even heard of AT&F. Am I wrong thinking that we aren't mainstream, lol? That isn't a bad thing by the way! I kind of like doing our own thing and people just stumbling upon us. So I leave you TWO questions.
What other fandoms are you part of? If you don't like the term 'fandom' are you an enthusiast for other things? Preferable media related in this question.
And lastly, do you consider AT&F part of the MLP 'fandom' or are we sort of on our own?
Yeah my six OCs are the Elementals. Superheroes they are. If there was anyone average I would consider that to be my regular pony sons, Anchor Kwill.

That is a lot of fandoms I must say! I've definitely dabbled in a few of them. Star Trek... but not Star Wars? Also I didn't think we were widely know, but then again, I don't see much beyond our Tumblr and other core site's we are a part of.

I saw Pratchett in there! Sir Terry Pratchett, a master of word-craft indeed! Hooray! This is maybe an impossible question, but do you personally have a fav fandom? Has one been better than the others for you personally? We're periphery! :D I really need to reach out to EQD and thank them someday. Someone said we should get interviewed someday in a message before... Hmmm.

Thank you for sharing! Do you collect Star Wars merch or having something Star Wars related you are really glad to have? I know someone who has a cardboard cutout of a Storm Trooper and another who made LEGO Star Wars spacecrafts.

Thank you. Hey... so your OC's... are they average and could fit in the AT&F universe or are they larger than life? Lol. Wait... aren't you the Elemental guy? The Elementals? There could also be a superhero series in the AT&F verse similar to how we view DC and Marvel stuff... Just sayin'.

That is cool. So it sounds like MLP really pulled you in and opened your eyes to the world of fandoms. It's amazing how a decent subset of a generation has been transformed through colored talking ponies. A generation that feels left behind to some degree, but found the warm embrace of ponies. Many have even found success because of it!

But even though you're not as well known as some of the other tumblr comics I've seen, like Motherly Scootaloo, Aero Replies and such, I still consider your take on the world of Equestria a fun alternate universe to follow and see what happens. If I could, I would totally pay the 100 buck tier so my own OC can have a cameo in there but alas finances suck that way. Disregarding that digression, yes. I do consider AT&F to be a part of the fandom even if its not the most popular thing the bronies have seen. It'll leave its own mark in its own way with many people. That's already evident with how fast your follower count is growing on Twitter.

I do enjoy the content of other fandoms. The Loud House for example I love some of the fan comics people have made and fanfics are good too. I follow the MCU movies religiously and go to every opening night. I even buy Transformers toys here and there. Star Wars is one of my big ones. I grew up with that one and its one of the few franchises I actually bothered with to dive into the extended universe and lore to learn more about it's world and the abilities of the force. But of course the fandom I am most in tune with is the Brony fandom. That's the only one I've ever really contributed to as far as putting out my own content. Fanfiction of my own on fimfiction.net, my youtube channel, even commissioning many different artists of pics of my OC's. I've never been part of anything like that before until MLP FiM came around. It's pretty much all around the walls of my bedroom.

I'd consider you and AT&F part of the fandom! And as for other fandoms, I've been into Star Wars my whole life (even though I've been to umpteen pony cons and no cons/meetups about Star Wars), I love ATLA, and although this isn't a fandom per se, I've studied history (up to and including getting a graduate degree) for almost as long as I've been into Star Wars!

So many - F&SF, HHGTG, Trek, Who, Pratchett, furry, many many others. And yes, AT&F is definitely part of MLP fandom even if only peripherally - after all, your comics get posted on Equestria Daily!

1) I'm part of the Doctor Who , Star Trek, Gravity Falls, Owl House, Amphibia, Avatar The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, Kipo , and Dragon Prince fandoms.
2) I do consider AT & F part of the MLP fandom considering you are featured on EQD. I also believe that the comics are somewhat widely known in the fandom
