New / Old Characters
Added 2020-05-30 13:00:04 +0000 UTCIn the upcoming arc with Starlight working at a grocery store, it will open us up to some new characters. New characters that actually have some meaning and depth, and something I look forward to going into more depth in the future.
You know how I always say I will someday talk more about my past works? Well today is that day. Prior to working on pony comics, my most famous and well known webcomic involved characters working in a grocery store. It was very successful and at the time, I thought I had reached the peak of my online comic career because it was being posted online and through print distribution. I was so happy that something I made, my original idea, was a success. It got the point a grocery store chain even distributed the comic for employees. But times changed, I worked on other original projects. But it came to a stop when during the early growth of MLP, I did a random MLP comic and it... well, exploded beyond anything I could have imagined. It spurred me to do more pony and finally, Adorkable Twilight. It left my original comic to be stopped due to me focusing on something else.
My true goal is to someday go back to my original comic and have people like it for what it is. It's a similar slice of life (comedy drama) of the characters who work in this grocery store as well as their family lives. I will reveal it's name and more in an upcoming post.
In short, this new arc will feature some ponified versions of these characters from that comic I made. I am so excited, as I haven't really touched these characters in years. They won't play a big role, but they will be in the background of Starlight's new little arc. :)
I'm really excited and this will hopefully allow me to get people interested in my past original comic (which I will reveal when the web stuff is done). It will be new to you, and I plan to someday write new episodes for that comic as well!
