Thanksgiving Feast
Added 2019-12-05 14:01:02 +0000 UTC"You Are Loved" was our Thanksgiving episode this year. It went full on corny and cheesy with an extra heaping of gravy. We actually shoved two comic ideas into one episode, which is why it ended in a weird 5 panel edition.
It was a nice way to get everyone together in the shot and hopefully lift the spirits of those away from home, not with family, or just lonely.
I knew people would wonder why everyone was sitting on one side of the table... but I hoped no one would care/notice. ;-) People noticed.........

That is very true about the Last Supper painting. I knew people would alluded this scene in the comic to the Last Supper as well and that was truly not the goal. I am not trying to compare the two in anyway, but it was the best way to show the whole family having dinner together. I am sure that was the thinking with the Last Supper as well. :) Sometimes liberties are taken for the sake of a message.

Also... people ask why they're sitting on one side of the table, but never ask why the figures in the Last Supper are doing the same thing :P
