Thanks! So that is actually the crest of the community college that we've called, "Mare County Community College." We do have a crest for Ponyville, but I don't know if it's been shown in the series. I will try to find it. As for the inspiration of THIS crest, we did research on crests in the Pacific Northwest region of North America and liked the idea of something Native American. So we did that. We made an Orca (Killer Whale) with a native inspired design. Then we slapped our fictional Mount Altai (mentioned in the series a few times and shown in the background often) in the background. If the college had a sports team, they might be called the Killer Whales, Orca's, Whales, Whalers, or something along those lines. There ya go, fake college crest with backstory!
