Your Thoughts About Season 9 Opener?

I watched it and must say I was pretty happy. I don't want to give a lot away incase of spoilers to begin with, but I think it was well done. I think Sombra's voice was wrong but I enjoyed Discord in this episode (mainly near the end). The Mane 6 repeated a lot of lines too many times, but said it in different ways. Twilight was strong and Starlight was strong in her section of the episode too. I feel a lot of it was rushed to squeeze it in time and we continue to see how inept Equestria's forces are are stopping magical bad guys, that always make me sad how bad they are. Overall though, I really enjoyed it and it has me excited for what's to come this season.

It’s really good episode, there are some flaws but mostly great story through out the episodes.

Also generally like it but have the same reservations regarding inappropriate pacing, plot convenient incompetence and even general strange behaviors of major characters. Loved Twily's signature freakouts, even made a meme face collage :). Stage seems to be set for villain conflict in this season. But overall: MORE PONIES! GOOD!
