Abandon The Episode!!!
Added 2019-03-08 22:02:05 +0000 UTCI am always amazed. When I think I have figured out what people enjoy, I am pleasantly surprised. So remember last year when that episode with Starlight fell flat and performed horribly? Well we have a new contender for first place. "Pony Butt" has performed abysmally with only 63 notes at 2:00pm Pacific Standard time. That is the worst ever in the modern era.
And what surprises is me is that this time, I actually don't know why it is performing so poorly. It has so many staples that people like. lol! It goes to show you just never know as much as you think. It seems like a sound episode and the pre-readers liked it too.
In that Starlight episode that fell flat, a lot of you had told me that a possible reason for that was also that many people were boycotting Tumblr that day. Usually by 2pm we should have about 100 notes. Maybe I should stop monitoring stats...

2019-03-09 00:23:17 +0000 UTCI think you might have a little bit too much Twilight in you! :) You shouldn't always read too much into the stats at such a fine level of detail. The overall trend is much more significant than individual episode stats, and you can't always know the reasons for short-term fluctuations.

We were averaging about 170 notes per episode last year and this year we are at around 130 notes per episode. That is a huge drop. But the strange thing is that viewership is up. If we were to move from Tumblr... where do people consume comics now days?
