Lost in Cult

Ive captioned some of these with the premise of each one!
Just to elaborate a little more, the first image was centered on how with the Nintendo DS (at the time) came a time of possibility with games and activities that ranged from dating games, mean girls and McDonald’s employee training in Japan. So I created one of my most chaotic images, Ronald McDonald dating regina george.
The second was about the inclusion of handhelds like the Nintendo switch in the educational sector. Made a lil reference to a friend of mine that’s a primary school teacher and my hometown. Pretty sure I’ve talked about this one before but whatever!
Third was about someone finding a community through a shared love for the PSVita in a time of immense gloom and loss. Being able to create new friendships while struggling with a relationship and the impact of games such as Night in the Woods and Persona 5. Though it was probably the easiest to mock-up I did really feel for this piece since I too played night in the woods during a hard time.
Lastly a piece about tracking one’s life via memories of playing with different consoles. Little flashbacks of playing my SP late at night or in the backseat of a car while on a road trip with my folks. I didn’t play with any handhelds past the GBA SP so I can’t say I relate too much but it was easy enough to gauge and sketch up some concepts.
