A Minor Change, Playing It Safer!
Added 2018-12-04 18:25:09 +0000 UTCSo on November 28th, we did a post talking about future episodes! Well we will have to tweak that a tiny bit. So it came to my attention that Tumblr will be cleaning house of unwanted material, especially going after illegal activity that runs rampant through their site. They are also unprofitable, so there may be future changes. People in the social media world are overreacting and freaking out, as usual.
As you now, AT&F is a family friendly comic, so we have nothing to worry about in theory. But just in case we will play it extra safe and will hold back our story arc with Soarin' and the plot pillow company till after December 17, 2018. That is the day the Tumblr plans to really go into cleanup mode.
I don't expect anything to change, because we haven't done anything that breaks the rules (we've read them many times), but mistakes do happen. Lets just hope for the best and that at the end of the day, Tumblr will be a better place for users.
AN ASIDE: Now this isn't important to read, but if you want to read this bit, go ahead. I don't pay attention to Tumblr or social media much as you guys probably already know. I was really late to finding out about this (someone emailed me wondering if I was worried, I was not). I know there are bad things on any social media network, but I don't wander far beyond what I am working on to see it. So it never really affected me personally. We have several other sources to share our content, though not as easily, linked to the end of each and every Adorkable Twilight episode. Remember you can contact me here, DeviantArt, and we have the Wiki. If anything ever happens to the Tumblr, God forbid, The DeviantArt will become our next mode of distribution. But of course you Adorkable Patron Pals get directly to me via our Patreon.
