Traffic Theory! Second Release Good Idea?

Last week you may have noticed that that Friday's episode was different.  It released at the normal 7:02am Pacific time, but then later in the afternoon it was re-released at around 2:20pm.  

Then on Saturday we did a test run and released another episode at the normal 7:02am time and then re-released it later in the afternoon.

In this two episode run, we saw major traffic increases.  You see, I came to the very basic conclusion that the majority of our traffic and hits come within the first five hours of releasing a comic at 7:02am.  What made that time perfect was that it was the morning for the Pacific time zone and late morning for the Eastern time zone.  So it drew in many people.  But after the morning traffic, it slowed all afternoon.  I originally never released episodes twice to keep the blog clean and streamline.  But in our test, we saw that when we rereleased the episode's in the afternoon, we had another hit of traffic that lasted about 5 hours after again!  It increased traffic a good percentage!  I think we got way more Tumblr notes by doing this on our Friday episode then what it should have gotten (theory).  

Wednesday's episode was released normally and didn't get nearly the traffic.  What makes this just at theory though is that people might have found Friday's episode more receptive then Wednesday's.

But testing it on Saturday provided evidence that double release schedule REALLY has improved traffic to Adorkable Twilight & Friends.  I didn't think Saturday's comic was that great, but readers loved it!

So in short, usually our 7:02am release provides a lot of traffic.  We get another big boost if Equestria Daily posts the comic.  We get a very minuscule (minus 1%) traffic boost from Derpibooru who seems to not actually click the source.  So this second release has really helped. To keep our Tumblr flow clean, later in the evening we do remove our second re-release from public view so that only one episode appears a day still. 

Is the second release in a day a good thing?  The original release to appease the morning crowd, and a second release for the evening crowd?  I don't want to flood people's streams.  Does this seem too grabby in just trying to gain viewership?  Lets here your opinion.
