Tempest Revisited

It's a powerful poem based on a powerful series of images made with Photosensualis during a Hurricane in 2016.
As luck would have it, I broke down between St. Augustine and Tallahassee, where I was traveling to shoot. The AAA driver graciously fudged the numbers so that I would be covered for the entire tow (a little over 300 miles!) I rode in the tow truck with this man, who was a young war veteran with an interesting story.
Just as we arrived to the autoshop in Tallahassee, they were boarding up and quitting for the day in anticipation of the coming storm.
Photosensualis and I took a drive out to the coast and made some intense images just before the storm touched down.
There was a week long power outage, and I was stranded in Tallahassee. I accidentally drank toxic water and got incredibly ill that week. But I couldn't have been in a safer, more peaceful atmosphere during all the chaos.
Anyway, tomorrow I'll be sharing some never-seen-before images from that series.
