Some of you already know I keep a regular yoga practice. It keeps both my mind and body balanced and healthy. It can be either challenging or restorative, depending on the need at hand.
In April, my yoga teacher came by my house to photograph me in my back yard, in hopes of keeping morale high among studio members during quarantine. I did work exchange at the studio and was very much a part of the team.
Unfortunately, the studio did not survive the pandemic. It closed permanently last month. I will miss this studio very much. We only have a few in my area, and that was truly a special one, run by wonderful people.
However, I know it is one of many lessons in impermanence.
One positive change is that I bought my first house. Coincidentally, I will actually be too far south to have continued to attend yoga at this studio space, anyway...
Next week I will be moving into a new home after three years living in my little cottage on the water. It has been a stressful process, but I am so grateful to be entering the next chapter of my life. I owe a huge amount of thanks to a few friends in particular. XO
I thought this set was a good tribute to bittersweet changes and the fruits they bear. Enjoy.
More from the Blood Moon series will go up tonight for higher tiers.
