A Peek Into The Cottage
Added 2019-07-25 02:35:02 +0000 UTCJuly has been a crazy month. Being a shore town, it's the busiest month for the newspaper. I'm happy for the work, and it allows me to engage with interesting people often.
I have a roommate moving into the spare room in my house, so I've been doing a lot of cleaning and reorganizing.
I also have a full day shoot in my house next week, so I've been trying to make a simple and elegant space to work in that is a little different from what I've been doing.
More tomorrow.
Also, I'm heading up to the Catskills to attend a Tara Brach workshop on mindfulness.
Mindfulness and yoga have been very helpful tools for me in combating anxiety and depression. Tara Brach offers free podcasts, and she is absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend having a listen if you are someone who could use a little more "presence."
