A [Mini]Van Down by the River

I met Michael & Sally of Photosensualis in the summer of 2013. I had just graduated college, and lived in a little town called New Paltz; about 20-30 minutes from Woodstock, where they lived and had their gallery at the time.

For that entire year, it seemed that every shoot I scheduled with Photosensualis, it rained. This set is from our second or third shoot. We had planned on shooting in this field, and then it began to rain pretty heavily.

We were going to retreat, but I jokingly suggested shooting inside the giant soft box that was the minivan. Michael lifted an eyebrow, and after a laugh, we both decided we preferred shooting to not shooting. Thus birthed this minivan series.

This set will most likely never go public.

It is a treat for our patrons. Enjoy.
