My sincerest apologies for going dark.
I was in Mexico for five days, and for an 'all-inclusive resort,' I certainly did not expect the wifi (available for an additional charge) to be basically non existent.
But if I'm being honest, it was an added luxury not to have a working cellphone.
This was the first trip in a long time that did not involve work at all. It was also probably the most expensive trip I have ever taken for myself.
Something you might not know about me is that live music is an integral component to my existence on this planet.
My friend Aimee and I have been going to see shows together for 15 years. She has been with me to my top 5 most memorable shows;
-Ray Manzarek and Robbie Krieger of The Doors at Starland Ballroom, NJ. 2010.
-Love; A Beatles Cirque Du Soleil. Vegas, 2015.
-Desert Trip in Coachella Valley, featuring Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Paul McCartney, The Who, and Roger Waters. 2016.
-Roger Waters, T Mobile Arena, Vegas. 2017.
-Playing inthe Sand; 3 nights of Dead & Company, 1 night of Michael Franti. Riviera Maya, Mexico. 2018.
As you can see, this show certainly made the list! I will post some images on tumblr with a more thorough review once I've got "A Notion of Home" completed.
As for now, a little behind the scenes from my little photographic adventure on the gulf coast with Photosensualis.
More to come this week.
