Added 2017-12-06 17:04:11 +0000 UTCYesterday, I spent the morning shooting film with Matt Ryan. Matt gave me a roll of film and photographed me while I photographed self portraits with his Mamiya C220.

In the afternoon I met up with my friend Aimee to see Dead & Co perform. However, unfortunately, John Mayer had to have emergency surgery, so the show was cancelled. We went to the "Howlin' Wolf" to see an impromptu Dead tribute jam, featuring artists such as the Neville brothers of 'Dumpstaphunk.'
And a bit of personal;
Three days prior to leaving, my grandfather threw out his back. I thought I had him on a good regiment of ice, heat, water and anti inflammatory medications to let him be a few days. However, he decided to check himself into the hospital, where they inadvertently discovered he is experiencing the onset of congestive heart failure. Today is day three of his stay, and I hope to know more later this afternoon. As far as I know, it's not terribly serious yet.
My grandfather is a very important person to me, so if you could think a thought for him, I'd deeply appreciate it.
