For now, here's my current status;
I just arrived to Minnesota. Leaving for The Desert Adventure in just about one week.
Between work and spending time with / taking care of my sister and grandfather, and organizing/hosting an early Halloween party before I left, I've been spread insanely thin. This week has been a welcome break from my irregular and chaotic patterns of overwhelming myself with work... simply because I decided to try my hand at new work.
I was getting on a sight seeing cruise that my partner was driving this morning, (he is a captain) and the manager asked me if I would be interested in working as crew this week. Considering my Midwest tour fell apart as far as bookings go, this was a pretty serendipitous opportunity. Furthermore, it's a fun way to mix things up, and try on a different role without commitment.
While I love being a performing artist, it was a cathartic experience to get into character in the service industry. And, honestly, I have always been attracted to men in uniforms like this; and I've always wanted to try one on for myself. So here you go.
