Shooting in Austin
Added 2017-09-04 05:06:43 +0000 UTCToday I posed for Larry, a photographer whom I met at the Holz/Weston workshop several weeks ago.
We had a pleasantly quiet afternoon of soft portraits, followed (unexpectedly) by 3 hours of intense and fulfilling conversation, covering everything philosophical, political, ethical, spiritual.
It isn't often one meets another, especially these days, who is willing and eager to have these kinds of conversations. It is even rarer to meet someone who is entirely on the same page.
Today was one of those days where I felt as though I am exactly where I am supposed to be. These little moments of clarity give insight and inspiration to my creative process.
I hope you made a fulfilling connection today as well, whether it was with another human being or within moments of reflective solitude.
