Apology

I came off a condensed tour into what has proven to be a much larger undertaking than I imagined.
My sister wanted to move back to Jersey to start her adult life. So I agreed to help her get started with school and rent a place. She was not, and still is not, prepared for the sea of responsibility I launched her into.
In the last two weeks, we have been through two jobs, the first ending in a pickup from an ambulance, numerous failed attempts to retrieve her corrected birth certificate, numerous failed attempts at financial aid, countless driving lessons, multiple mental meltdowns, and most of the money in my checking account. However, waking up to this view, I think my efforts will have paid off once the dust settles.
Today, we are finally all moved in as of noon, and I go for surgery in 20 minutes. It should be minor, but think a thought for me.
To thank you all for bearing with me, everyone will receive a surprise box set this month to make up for my lack of presence here.
