Sheila Speaks
Added 2017-06-28 14:09:11 +0000 UTCHere is Sheila Metzner's wonderful presentation. It was taken with my phone, and it's sometimes difficult to hear her over her jewelry clacking together (though, I think that tactile quality adds to the charm of who she is).
I don't want to take too much advantage of my very special opportunity to see this presentation, therefore I am only posting this here, since the few of you who have access to this admire Sheila as much as I do.
Sheila's presentation was by far the best of the week. I am not just saying this because she's an idol of mine. Sheila was the only speaker to receive an extended standing ovation. Her presentation was poetic and honest, proud without any pretense, and humble without any self deprecating humor. Absolutely outstanding, better yet, transcendent, for a woman of her era.
I am immensely grateful to have been present.
