As promised, here is an exclusive shot by my dear friend and collaborator, Roberto Hull, of the Hudson Valley. This was taken in the Catskills this past summer.
Roberto is kindly traveling to Jersey to shoot with me tomorrow, as I have made the decision not to travel to the Catskills this winter.
There is a relationship there which needs to enter its winter season with space to promote healing, growth and newness in the spring.
Meanwhile, there is a relationship here (my grandfather) which needs tending to, as we adjust to my grandmother being gone.
As I embrace the imminent death of this year's definition of me, this photo reminds me to look forward to the bounty that will come.
2016 has been a major transition in my personal life and now these transitions are setting into the gears of my career.
Tomorrow, Roberto and I will be delving deep into the metaphysics of this transition, and I look forward to sharing with you the fruits of our efforts with the New Year.
One of the few projects we will be working on is a theme very much inspired by my struggle for balance. I began working on it January of this year. It is called Morning Fix, and I look forward to opening it up to you as it culminates.
Stay tuned.
