Better picture!(60 FPS)

ENG - Friends, on the adventure of this last LLWC (purple) I decided to increase the resolution of the videos and record everything in 60 FPS.
Honestly, I thought the quality was no different and it's imperceptible. Then I read that the ideal is to use 60 FPS for videos with action scenes or a lot of movement, sports for example.
If you think it's different, let me know.
I'm always trying to improve things :)

Estou sempre tentanto melhorar as coisas :)

Hi Jola, thank you so much for your time and patience in explaining here!!! I don't think 60 FPS changes much at all. I'll try switching to 4k to see if it improves more!!! Kisses :)

Ben, I thought it was clearer too. But it could be because I changed the camera. I don't think it's because of the 60 FPS. Jola gave a good explanation :)

sure does look super clear to me and may be clearer with motion. I like what your doing with the clarity and fps. If it isn't a bunch more work, I say keep it at 60.

Ben

I think there's a lot of misconception about FPS. It literally means "frame per second" so it's just the number of images taken per second by your camera. More FPS doesn't mean better quality ! 24/30FPS is the standard because it's very close to the natural perception of your eyes. 50/60FPS or more (100/120FPS) is useful only if you want to make slow moting, because as you have more FPS you can "extend time" : up to 2X slower with 50/60 FPS and up to 4X with 100/120FPS. If you want a better image quality (or, to be more precise, with more resolution, more crisp), you must increase the resolution and jump from HD (1920x1080 pixels) to 4K (3840x2160 pixels). Hope it will help you. But always remember, the subject of the video is always more important than all technical aspects ;-)

Jola

I was recording at 30 fps. The purple LLWC video was in 60 FPS. In the cinema they use 24 FPS. I didn't feel much difference in the image.

What do you usually record in? 30? It would be cool to see 60fps content, too. Or sometimes record in 60 frames, then output in 30 for cool slow motion shots. Of course it isn't cinema quality, but it could get the job done. 😊 It great to experiment with video.
