All Night Forever (Pre Chorus)

Here's a fun and easy one. It uses the same octave shape throughout which descends downwards. It then goes into some jazzy chords at end which are a little bit more involved.

The part overall is very Prince-y. When you get a hang of it, play it while dancing in front of a large mirror, and work on those stage moves.

TAB is attached. Drop any questions or comments down below!

Sorry to hear that! There's definitely some things you can do to help. I had cubital tunnel syndrome a few years ago and was also forced to examine my technique and think a lot about this stuff. There's a few very common stretches I do but the most useful is one where you extend an arm all the way out, and place the other hand in the palm and pull it back. I bet if you google hand stretches it'd be one of the first ones you'll see. The other one is just to shake your hands around to get the blood flowing.

Great party. Love the funkiness of the octaves and the complexity of the chords. Question: I recently injured my wrist (TFCC tear), so unfortunately I can't play guitar for a while. When I get back into the swing of things, it'll be important to stretch to make sure I don't injure myself further. Do you have any particular stretches or routines to insure you don't get an injury from all the shredding that you do? Edit: I meant to say "great part", but great party also works. This song is a party.

The part around 1:47 where you played the unmuted strings was really interesting! It's almost like a hardcore version of the song--like say the demon you've summoned in this song is more interested in vengeance than partying. Totally changes the feel of it, but also in a way that's intriguing and I'd like to hear more of!

I never would've guessed the chords in the turnaround without this lesson!
