nana, chichi, baba, tata?
Added 2023-07-01 03:49:38 +0000 UTCA week ago I published this modding diary https://www.patreon.com/posts/modding-diary-85080426 which showcased the weaning system Im working on. I used "nana" as a nickname for boobies but I know nana also means grandmother to some families, which might be a little strange. 😅
some of you suggested some alternative nicknames in the comments so Im making a poll here to see which one gets the most vote.
Before you ask, unfortunately theres no way to let players enter their own nickname because of how the game works : /

Sabbysims
2023-08-03 19:01:33 +0000 UTCboobies or milkies

2023-07-17 01:50:23 +0000 UTCWe were also a "milkies" family, but my oldest also called it "noo-noos" (rhymes with "boo-boo")
2023-07-12 01:54:51 +0000 UTCIn Spanish, "chi-chi" is like saying "ti--ies" instead of breasts. So it's more slang than proper.

2023-07-11 23:15:02 +0000 UTCI like chichi but i also like Ashley stanbra's to with bitty
GenieBeanie
2023-07-08 23:15:50 +0000 UTCBaba is also another word for father or grandfather / old wise man.. I like chichi, it's slang for breasts and something we used in my family lol, i also like tata, milkies, as someone else suggested is also super cute!

2023-07-08 17:04:42 +0000 UTCMy nephew asks for milk. My sister told me a story of a friend who told her son the milk was all gone when she got pregnant with her daughter, and one day he saw her feeding his sister and confronted his mother with "MY milk?? You're giving her MY milk?"
2023-07-08 13:15:20 +0000 UTCBitty or boobie juice lol
Ashley Stanbra
2023-07-07 19:29:49 +0000 UTCI called it "boobie snack" lol also just milk or nurse
Heather
2023-07-07 11:55:33 +0000 UTCMilkies sounds super cute too. I used to always say drink milk and at some point my daughter made Minna out of it. ;) And that stayed, even when she could say milk.

2023-07-07 07:14:05 +0000 UTCMaybe an unpopular thing but I literally say t!tty (unsure if certain words aren't allowed) or b00b lol.

2023-07-06 18:42:38 +0000 UTCSame in my family. Our toddlers overall never refer to breasts: they only refer to what they're trying to get to (milk sounds more like ma'am, or sometimes they say "eee-eee (as in eat-eat)" or do "gimme" hand gestures

2023-07-03 22:42:39 +0000 UTCI still breast feed my toddler and he says either milk or milkies lol

2023-07-03 21:19:09 +0000 UTCOh ok I understand now. Thank you for clarifying. I thought this was in regards to changing the words during certain interaction with your mod.

2023-07-02 22:58:59 +0000 UTCIt’s not about censoring anatomies. I think it’s just unusual for toddlers to use the term “breasts” instead of calling them by nicknames
PandaSama
2023-07-02 22:57:13 +0000 UTCwhy cant we use the medical term which is just breast? i understand this is a game for all ages but we shouldn't be censoring our anatomies especially when we're discussing childbirth breast feeding and weening.

2023-07-02 22:36:09 +0000 UTCI would prefer something simple like nursing or milk from mom. I'm not one for cutsie names though.

2023-07-02 20:31:41 +0000 UTCLol my kids called them milkies but boobies are good too

2023-07-02 19:05:28 +0000 UTCI agree with Rachael Strube. However, my kids always used the term boobie
Wendy Hubble
2023-07-02 02:58:36 +0000 UTCMaybe suso? It’s the islander way of saying boobie and it fits the simlish vibe
Rachael Strube
2023-07-01 18:56:31 +0000 UTCMy daughter used to call mine “nanies”. Idk where she got it from lol I just always said “milk” 🤷🏽♀️or nothin at all.
2023-07-01 18:21:58 +0000 UTCI'd use breast or booby. It's an anatomical name and should be perfectly fine to use.
Heather Thompson
2023-07-01 14:26:37 +0000 UTCI choose boobie but I didn’t see the option for mama milk/mommy milk. That also would be really good to call it
ZuriloveSerenityxoxo
2023-07-01 13:04:14 +0000 UTCNivie (N-i-Va-E) was what we called it as kid 🤷🏽♀️😂
2023-07-01 12:43:49 +0000 UTCMilk milky is kinda bland maybe mama’s milk, prefer boobie or baba. 🥰
Sabbysims
2023-07-01 11:55:23 +0000 UTCBoobie. Just call it what it is.

2023-07-01 11:12:47 +0000 UTCI prefer milk/milky bc it's inclusive of many different parents. I play with LGBT families a lot so that's important to me. That said I also think "boobie" is ok as children should know the actual name of body parts.
Nathalie
2023-07-01 10:14:11 +0000 UTCThey say to teach your children the actual names of the body parts so I'm good with boobie tho as an alternative suggestion my cousins baby (used to call them boobie(s)) for some reason calls it "Diddy/Diddies"...we think my uncle...the babies grandpa...called them tiddies infront of her so she now says Diddies/Diddy
2023-07-01 09:48:41 +0000 UTCMy little sister called it noo-noo.
StephMillsSims
2023-07-01 09:47:47 +0000 UTCI like Mama Milk or Milky like others have suggested!!
Ashley
2023-07-01 09:43:12 +0000 UTCTata in Polish means "Dad" :D and little kids name their Grandma "Baba" in Poland :D. I vote for "Boobie" or Mama Milk too ;)
Frezja1728
2023-07-01 09:29:47 +0000 UTCMy little girl called it milky’s
2023-07-01 05:24:39 +0000 UTCYeah in Mexican Spanish culture we call them chichi, I’m fine with that or boobie
2023-07-01 04:55:18 +0000 UTCI like Chichi, we'd call them that cuz my mom is Mexican lol.
