Pregnant sims can checkout their own baby bump using a mirror, they will get a moodlet after doing so and the moodlet varies depending on the trimester and whether or not they want the pregnancy (using RPO)

2. Say Hi to Baby

Sims age toddler and up can now say hi to the baby with brand new animation. This interaction can be found under "Friendly-Small Talk"(30+ friendship is required). This interaction can be performed by sims who do not "hate children"( or do not have unwanted sibling or grandchildren using RPO). Toddler and child sims may also reject the interaction if you ask them when they are in a bad mood, so either wait till they are feeling better or take control of them and force them to do the interaction. The sim saying hi will get a moodlet after the interaction, siblings and grandparents who perform this interaction also have a chance to receive unique moodlets

3.Belly Hug

This interaction can be found under "Romance-Physical Intimacy"(30+ Romance is required), both sims will receive a moodlet as long as they don't hate children or have an unwanted pregnancy using RPO.

4. Read to Baby

This interaction can be found when you click on the bed(30+ Romance is required), both sims will receive a moodlet as long as they don't hate children or have an unwanted pregnancy using RPO.

5. Play Music For Baby

You can find the Baby Bump Headphones by searching headphones or Pandasama in build and buy. This interaction allows your sim to play music to their baby and your sim will find a place to sit down once you initiate this interaction. They may also use the headphones when they are rocking on a rocking chair, to do so first click on a rocking chair and select "rock", then select the headphones and choose "play music for baby".

6. Stroke belly idle animation

your sim will now randomly stroke their belly if you have ever called the obstetrician and choose anything other than "surgery machine". This is an idle animation that may play when your sim is standing, sitting, rocking on a rocking chair, or bathing, and it will only play once every 60-80 sim minutes to avoid spamming. This is an autonomous animation, so you can't trigger it by hand.

they have 20% chance of getting one of the baby kick moodlets after they enter the second trimester

7. Settings

With this update you can now choose the level of milk supply in childbirth settings. This option will only show up if your sim is lactating, and because their level of milk supply gets re-rolled every time your sim gives birth, you will might need to repeat this setting each time they start lactating.

When i tried to call OB, she pulled out the phone but it never called. i couldnt get that to work at all. i did hospital birth. dad just stood with a stupid smile on his face on the wrong side of the room but he wouldnt join for anything (or even come over). then the baby was named Caleb but when he came home, he was Stuart. This mod is perfect! Only observation is that my babies' names get changed when they are sent home. I name them, for example, "Y" at the hospital and the pop-up appear as "X was sent to daycare" and the name is random. It's fixable when they age up to a toddler, just giving a heads up in case you didn't know about this glitch.

My mod was working but for some reason it's like glitching. Whenever I try & give birth at the hospital; even when calling the obstetrician & selecting Cesarean & I get the epidural it doesn't give me an option to give birth after the epidural has taken effect as it usually does. The pulsing heart is above my sims head also instead of the sparkles on the feet. I checked to make sure that I have no corrupting files & deleted the old folder but it's still doing this 🥺

I'll try taking it out and putting it back in but for some reason after the first time I did home birth, the midwife won't stop showing up at my house. She comes over every day with the same notification of helping me give birth after I've already had the child. Every new day in sims they show up at my house and I keep having to make them leave.

There could be several reasons: the first one is as I said you did not install the mod correctly, probably didn’t unzip the zip file. Or you put the files more than one folder deep, which causes the call ob and social option to not appear, AND you downloaded better build and buy and didn’t enable cc in the build filter, which causes the build items to not show up. Or you didn’t enable mods and cc after your game updated. Or you are trying to put the mod files in an Electronic Arts/sims 4 folder that’s not in your documents folder, I’ve seen people do this to “save space” on their computer, it doesn’t work that way

Hey, I recently had my sim terminate her baby due to the fact that she got the moodlet of cramping and pain I had her go to the hospital and she comes back with no new moodlet or any message from her hospital visit, I sent her to see the ob/gyn and the message said baby and her were fine but the moonlet stayed and she stops doing anything to rub her stomach and wine in pain of course. Any help or advice would be amazing. she was in her 2nd trimester and it was going to be her first baby.

Hii! That’s just how this interaction works. You can’t pick bassinets. However I’ve heard you can trick the game by having moo on, destroying the baby in build mode after it’s born, placing down a bassinet of your choosing, then reloading into the game. Apparently that will cause the baby to respawn in the new bassinet. I have not tested this trick myself yet

Hi! i love your mods!! This mod is so amazing and everything you do is just perfection. I don't know if you're open to requests, but if at some point you could have some occult-exclusive births, that would be incredible. Even just different items for home births, so like mermaids can give birth with tail/in bathtub, vampires in coffins, spellcasters in some witchy, sparkly way...that sort of thing.

I found I had the same issue and it was patreon version of MCCC that was causing it. I went back to the free issue and its fine. I also use relationship overhaul and everything was good once MCCC was downgraded

Not sure if you have it, but I believe Lumpinou relationship and pregnancy overhaul may be the culprit. It used to be called woohoo wellness. I just downloaded the updated version, and it seems to be better, but I am still running into some issues. I am going to try taking it out completely next.

Hello I don't know what's going on but every time my sim gets pregnant and I take her to the doctors for an ultrasound when I head home after it my sim gets back home and her belly disappears and my sim is like not pregnant anymore like there is no count down saying she is in first, second or third trimester? Hello! Long time supporter, first time commenting. I updated yesterday and then played through a home birth. It went okay in the beginning, then the animation got glitchy, and then it just basically froze. I don’t want to write it all out as a comment, but basically the animation didn’t work for almost any of the birth, and I can’t find any other mod causing the issue. I think you might have a conflict with one? I can send a message if you’d like. But I still love your mods and creativity so much, and I’m definitely not going anywhere! ☺️

Hiii! You should find it under friendly or romantic interactions, depending on who you are talking to, if you don’t see it there it could either mean you didn’t install the mod correctly or you still have old versions of the childbirth mod in your mods folder

Whenever the father questions paternity, it automatically says he's not the father (even if he really is) without offering a paternity test interaction. I love this mod so much but unfortunately, I've come across a major issue when I use the mod. My game freezes with the mod installed. When I remove it, I don't encounter the issue anymore. Hi Panda, I love the new interactions; thank you so very much! But! I'm getting exceptions during the home birth using the pillows. My sim can choose a birth partner, start the home birth, do all the early labor interactions, and call a midwife. When using the pillow to give birth, my sim can ask the birthing partner to assist, but then they'll just stand there idling until I reset one of them. I made sure there was space on the right side, there's at least three squares of space. Is there something else I should try? I haven't tried the birthing pool yet, but unassisted birth and hospital births work just fine.

Either the mod is not installed correctly or you downloaded better build and buy without enabling cc in buy mode. More details would help me narrow down the cause

You should have an option that says have baby at hospital, the option is an EA interaction, meaning it will show up even if you don’t have the child birth mod installed, so it’s definitely there

Even if I call the obstetrician and select natural birth for whenever my sim goes into labor it will only allow the home birth option. I don't have the option for the hospital, only "start home birth."

its's not working right for me either, I downloaded the updating one and now I can't call obstetrician and when its time to give birth I can't go to the hospital. I removed all my mods to see if any of them have anything to do with it and it doesn't.

Check bump in the mirror, the pump, cookies or milk, call obstetrician on the phone. Nothing to do with the mod

For example which option is not showing up？

When I’m playing, I have none of the options that comes with the mod I had before I started my mods folder over. I did the MCCC check last night to make sure the old mod wasn’t there blocking anything and it wasn’t. I have no idea if I’m missing something or what.
