Modding Diary - Belly Hug

Hi guys! Hope you all had a fantastic week!
Last week I asked you guys for suggestions on what other early pregnancy interactions you wanted to see, and I got a bunch of really cute ideas! 😍Thank you to everyone who commented, I read through every single one of your comments and wrote down a list of ideas that I thought were very cute and also doable from a technically standpoint. It's going to take me a while to make all the animations but I know I will be enjoying every moment of it.
This week I finished the animation for the "Belly Hug" interaction (thank you guys for helping me out with the name, belly hug is way nicer than what I had before lol )
Here's what the animation looks like. Partner sim will hug the pregnant sim from behind
they can be seen talking and gazing at each other occasionally
Partner sim will rub the pregnant sim's baby bump
and kisses the pregnant sim on the head
they will smile at each other lovingly
and turn their attention to the baby bump
the partner sim will embrace the pregnant sim
they both close their eyes to enjoy the moment
and that's all I have for this interaction, the whole animation is 43 seconds long, so it is a decent sized animation even though it doesn't seem like that much in the screenshots.
Next I will need to add the sound effect and make some moodlets.
Then I will move on to the next animation which will be the "read together" interaction, Im pretty excited for that one because it will not be a pregnancy only interaction, your sim will be able read in bed with another sim any time, but during pregnancy the interaction will be renamed to "read to baby" once they become pregnant.

No rush! especially since you're coming out with the belly hug. but they won't leave the infant or toddler in highchair so coming out with a lock for both im going to be forever indebted to you!

On a side note, my last sim to have a child had quadruplets! Your mod simply put one baby in the standard crip and delivered the other three per usual. Bless you, and your talent, and MCCC for surprising my sim with four babies!

2023-04-22 13:37:31 +0000 UTCHello, just a quick question about the Formula Milk/ milk update. Is there a specific reason why you can't drink the breast milk in the bottles yourself? I understand, for babies, yes, but there really are people who drink breast milk in their old age. Not that I'm concerned, but the current attitude gives the impression that breast milk is toxic, wrong and just plain evil for all ages except babies and infants. Everyone should be able to take off the bottle cap and drink breast milk like cow's milk if they want to. Simply because of the diversity and immersion.
