Modding Diary - Fixing bugs

I'm currently working fixing the following bugs and investigating two potential bugs.
The bugs I'm working on are:🔨🔨
- Sims not getting the "water breaking" moodlet
(temporary fix :Shift click on sim, child birth settings-remove dilation, then restart home birth)
- Sims not getting any contraction moodlet and goes straight to fully dilated
(temporary fix :Shift click on sim, child birth settings-remove dilation, then restart home birth)
- the beating heart icon still visible after birth
(temporary fix :Shift click on sim , child birth settings-remove dilation)
- the in labor moodlet still visible after birth
(temporary fix : removing it using mccc-mc cheats-cheat sims info-mood/bufff cheats-remove buff)
- sims not getting the "new baby" moodlet after birth
- midwives cooking too many meals
- midwives leaving lot and getting replaced by two midwives and end up charging twice the amount
- partner sims not playing the reaction animation when the baby is born
Other bugs that have been reported but I have not been able to confirm:🤔🤔
midwives showing up invisible
home birth option is not visible when calling the obstetrician

Bugs that have been confirmed but with no way of fixing at the moment🤕:
the number of babies during animation not matching the actual number of babies when giving birth at the hospital
babies names changing after giving birth.
just because there is no fix right now doesn't mean it will stay that way, im always learning new things and hopefully will find a fix in the near future!

Typically saving and quit then restarting the game will make her visible again, just make sure to start home birth again

2022-10-30 23:28:57 +0000 UTCI have the invisible midwife problem right now. I will try again for a home birth later to see if it fixes the problem. Like she’s there cooking but you can’t see her🤷🏻♀️
