Weekly Update - C-Section Time

This past week I wrapped up the natural birth part of the mod and started working on the C-section animations. The animations are basically complete at this point but I still need to add the vfx and cosmetics.
Now when you call your obstetrician you will have the option to have a planned c-section
you will arrive at the hospital as usual once your sim is in labor, the obstetrician will come and give your sim an epidural and then they will be ready for the procedure.
here are what the animation currently looks like in blender
(the companion sim will be sitting on a stool next to the bed during the procedure.)
and here is what it looks like in game at the moment
I only took 3 in game screenshots because Im not very happy with how the surgical gown look at the moment, and I still need to add the cosmetics for the incision. I should be finished with the C-section part of the mod by next Friday and I will have more screenshots to show you guys exactly what the whole process looks like.
I initially planned to release this on March 15th however rumor has it a patch is coming right around that time, so the release will likely be on the 16th or 17th depending on if anything breaks with the patch 😰(im praying that nothing breaks)

2022-03-14 20:22:14 +0000 UTCSo I have been in contact with adeepindigo in regarding to compatibilities, so far it seems like our mods would not conflict with one another. but she will be posting an update to add further compatibility so that sims who choose natural birth with my mod will not be getting a emergency c-section buff from her mod.

I do use Healthcare Redux which sometimes gives a C-Section buff if the mod causes the sim to go into labor early due to pregnancy complications. I see you basically choose your birthing option up front with this mod, are the 2 compatible or am I looking at clearing the C-Section buff (or just sending the Sim to the hospital alone if they go into labor early) if I want to continue to use the other?

I've always hated the silly machine ripping out my poor Sim's hearts when they should be just giving me my baby. The amount of work you've put into this really is amazing. I can't wait to be able to put it in my game!

Will you be placing a screen between the mother's head and the surgical area like I've seen done in cesarean births and maybe an IV and surgical cap for mom, just for additional realism?
