its very rare to see an anime so confident with how they are revealing information and worldbuilding. We are in the last episodes of the season and still learning new things that are actually huge in importance. Also be sure to check out the trailer for S3 and the release of the new movie sometime this month. The new movie is basically just the Shibuya incident with a few more scenes added but they will also add the first two episodes of season 3 in the end. Don't know what's going on with the digital release tho.

The uzumaki/mahito thing will be explained before the seasons end. It is a common complaint that the anime doesn't explain everything well.
