That's the problem with Palace life, or any type of dynasty. There's always fighting amongst all the family members for the most power. Period dramas and shows always give me so much anxiety cuz I can never handle all the back stabbing that goes on. ๐ I'm always stressed when my hero/heroine are suffering. Even when you know it's not real, you also know that people did live like that throughout history. Besides hygiene, I'm betting the 2nd biggest leading cause of death are caused by inner conflicts and betrayals.

When she called him a friend and he said it's the same thing to him, it's because he has absolutely no form of love in his life and no one other than baek ah that he cares about, she is both friend and love to him. baek ah takes care of the sibling/family love. soo is his friend/romantic love.
