the whole cleaning of streets for olympics is a real thing in korea the government quite literally kidnapped the homeless and involved them in camps (real life squid games) and roadside shops and evrything got destroyed cause they wanted to show a very clean image of themselves many people still criticize their government for the way they dealt with people during the 88 olympics
