'Footloose' by Kenny Loggins was the original song playing in the soccer scene. It's a popular '80s American song

2025-02-10 08:27:59 +0000 UTCAs for Sunwoo...I think that rather than just being a stickler for the rules, he doesn't want to cause any commotion and have things reflect badly on his mother. People tended to blame things on single parenting when a kid gets marked as a 'troublemaker'. Also, when they say Choi Taek 6-dan, it doesn't mean he's ranked 6th. '6-dan' is a level in Go like how black belt is a level in Taekwondo.

2025-02-09 20:23:26 +0000 UTCWe only have so much time to record multiple shows (already about 6 videos per week as it is) plus this one is on the longer side in terms of episode length. Sorry.

2025-02-09 19:07:34 +0000 UTCBy the way, Reply 1988 is only uploaded on weekends, and now it’s Monday… How am I supposed to wait until Saturday…?🤣 Could you please add Reply 1988 as a follow-up reaction video after finishing the last episode of Healer? Would it be possible to do 4 reaction videos a week, including Saturday? I’m struggling so much with the wait. I really want to see it quickly. Ugh!!!!🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

2025-02-09 18:34:42 +0000 UTCAmong Deok-sun’s family, the only one who smokes is Bora. Bora made her younger sibling No-eul run errands for cigarettes, so even though No-eul doesn’t actually smoke, they ended up knowing in detail how much cigarettes cost and how the price had risen. Then, in episode 1, there’s a scene where a student asks, “How do you know the price of cigarettes?” and Deok-sun’s dad scolds No-eul! Under suspicion, No-eul—who is completely innocent—got scolded instead of Bora, and it was revealed that the cigarettes were bought as an errand for the older sister. At that moment, as the mood soured, Bora told No-eul, “You’ve never done that—you’re the one who smokes, so why are you trying to pin it on me?” While being reprimanded by both Dad and Bora, No-eul ended up saying, “Alright, I smoked cigarettes; everything is my fault,” in a hilariously self-defeated manner. Haha.

2025-02-09 18:23:39 +0000 UTCI think the blurring isn't even the biggest issue, but the OST change. It makes such a big difference. The scenes when Deoksun was running back home, and when the guys were playing soccer have different OSTs

2025-02-09 17:50:16 +0000 UTCTwo scenes from this episode are real and not only acting The first one is hyeri crying at her grandma death she was actually crying bc her real grandma died several days before this scene was acted and there’s behind the scenes video which shows that she continued crying after the scene ended The second is park bogum tearing up while talking about his mother’s death as his mother died when he was in the 4th grade

2025-02-09 17:46:11 +0000 UTCI think I once saw this before, even Bogum lost his mother when he was young and hence he related to Taek in that aspect. Also, Noeul (Deokseon's younger brother) does not smoke. He bought that pack for Bora.

2025-02-09 17:36:01 +0000 UTC57:22 Your reactions are always truly amazing. I’ve never seen foreigners understand the main characters’ inner psychology this deeply while watching this drama. You’re really great at analyzing characters, and your focus is incredible. I don’t think there’s much I need to explain further to you. The best reactors—thank you!

2025-02-09 17:23:43 +0000 UTChomie hopper? ahahaha now when you put it that way LOL. I def think you guys are writing off Bora too early. My theory is that their parents were too strict with her when she was younger that's why she was good in school but very cold hearted. And when they realised that they might have been too hard on her, they chnaged their style and became too lenient with Deoksun and No-eul, who are both kind, but last place in school. It also shows thee power of friendship. If Junghwan didn't have the Ssammundong friends, I think he would have ended up like Bora. They have very similar personalities, but his friend group kicks the cold out of his heart. You can't give up on Bora yet, cause she's family, and in Ssamundong nobody gives up on family

2025-02-09 17:19:51 +0000 UTCAbout the scene where Deoksun takes phone call to recieve news about grandma, the day before filming that scene Hyeri's actual grandma passed away, I remember seeing behind the scenes of that shot and she couldn't stop crying after, so everytime I watch that scene it's even more sad

2025-02-09 17:16:06 +0000 UTCMaybe because I have sister so Bora and Deoksun's fights don't bother me lol... And it's not like she is much older either, if she was like 4+ years older and still act like that maybe yeah but they have like 2 age gap...but Bora screaming at her mom...that's different story

2025-02-09 17:06:33 +0000 UTC1:08:00 It looks like an orchid pot, but early in the drama, Deok-sun’s mother tried to throw it away because it was slightly broken. However, her grandmother told her not to throw away something that was still usable. After the grandmother passed away, there was a scene where the camera focused on the pot. It turned out that it wasn’t just any pot—it was a commemorative vase from her son’s workplace, with his name written on it. The reason she couldn’t throw it away was because it had her son’s name on it. It was a symbol of a mother’s love. Deok-sun’s paternal grandmother, whom she had always loved, passed away. However, her eldest uncle was still in the U.S. and hadn’t arrived yet. At the funeral, her aunts and father were chatting and laughing, which made Deok-sun wonder how they could act that way when their mother had just passed away. But in reality, they were all holding back their grief. Until his eldest brother arrived, Deok-sun’s father was the head of the family and had to stay strong. Only after the eldest brother arrived did all the siblings finally allow themselves to grieve together. The moment Deok-sun saw her father cry for the first time was incredibly heartbreaking. Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen my own parents cry either, especially my father. Even when my grandmother passed away due to old age, he didn’t shed a tear. But I recently found out that he sometimes visits her resting place. Watching my father, I once wondered, Do adults not feel sadness as much? But that wasn’t the case. Even as adults, we continue to feel sorrow. But those who are the pillars of the family suppress their grief and focus on receiving guests during funerals.

2025-02-09 17:00:40 +0000 UTCI think you missed some subtitles in first episode Noeul doesn't smoke, Bora made him buy cigarettes for herself and Deoksun even said in that scene that it was Bora's, their dad ignored it because he didn't want to tell anything to Bora and still scolded Noeul

2025-02-09 16:56:43 +0000 UTCThe fun thing about the future husband mystery in the Reply series ; is that the writers don't decide on it till the end , so nobody knows , not even the actors . I watched all of the reply seasons while they were still airing , and everyone is teamX or teamY and people create forums about it , making theories and basically begging the production team. It is so entertaining, specially when the character you're supporting ends up being the husband ... cuz when it doesn't aaaah like what happened to me in R1994, I could't move on even years after.
