The apartment where the lights go off at 9:55pm in Cookie is from a series called "APARTMENT” by author Kang Full. And Kang Full series includes “MOVING” TIMING” BRIDGE“ AGAIN” HIDDEN” etc. so on.. Itd be nice if next season is TIMING” but I heard there was a high possibility that it would be HIDDEN” Whatever it is, Kim Young-tak is the main character in Kang Full's universe, so I guess his appearance is certain to occur

In the drama Lighting Store, people in a coma could wake up in the real world when they touched a light bulb. However, in the original webtoon, it works a bit differently. In the webtoon, the Sunglasses Man has to hand the bulb to them in order for them to wake up. Now, let’s go over what happens in the webtoon: • Hyun-min wasn’t actively looking for the bulb, but the Sunglasses Man showed it to him anyway. Why? Because of Ji-young. The Sunglasses Man knew that if Hyun-min didn’t return to the real world, Ji-young would continue to reject her own death. • He told Ji-young to finally accept her death, but she refused, saying she couldn’t live in a world without Hyun-min. She chose to follow him. (In other words, Ji-young became a ghost.) • In the original webtoon, after waking up from his coma, Hyun-min actually remembered Ji-young. ☑️ One of the biggest mysteries in Korea regarding this drama was why Hyun-min couldn’t remember Ji-young. • In an interview, Kang Full (the creator) mentioned that he has a reason for this but has no intention of revealing it. He wants it to remain open to interpretation. Here are two popular interpretations: 1️⃣ The Lighting Store world exists for people who still had remaining years to live but ended up in accidents, preventing them from living out their full lifespan. Ji-young, however, took her own life, meaning she had no remaining lifespan. Therefore, she wasn’t originally supposed to exist in that world. That’s why Hyun-min can’t remember her. 2️⃣ Hyun-min’s feelings toward Ji-young were more about sympathy rather than love. • In the original webtoon, Hyun-min is the only character who actively tries to forget the person he loved after returning to the real world. • The drama contrasts this with other characters: • One of the women in the lesbian couple refused to return because she didn’t want to leave her lover alone. • Hyun-joo didn’t want to leave her mother, and even after returning to reality, she refused delirium treatment so she wouldn’t forget her. • The drama immediately follows these moments with Ji-young feeling hurt when Hyun-min doesn’t remember her. • This suggests that those who truly loved someone either refused to forget (like Hyun-joo and her mother) or chose to stay with them (like the lesbian couple). In contrast, Hyun-min’s inability to remember Ji-young implies that his feelings may not have been true love. ☑️ The restaurant owner was always a grim reaper. However, the detective only became a grim reaper after the Lighting Store incident. ☑️ In the post-credit scene, Detective Yang Sung-shik is seen standing in front of an apartment building. At exactly 9:56 PM, all the lights in the building go out. This scene references Apartment, the first supernatural webtoon in Kang Full’s universe, where Detective Yang Sung-shik originally appeared.

2025-01-31 20:02:38 +0000 UTCIn the final episode of Light Shop, it was revealed that Hyun-joo deliberately didn’t receive treatment for her delirium, and she also seems to have some kind of connection with the ghostly female student. Additionally, at the end of Light Shop, the detective is seen investigating the Jeongwon High School collapse from Moving, and both Young-tak and Hee-soo appear! This is just my speculation, but since Hyun-joo, Young-tak, and Moving’s Hee-soo and Bong-seok are all the same age, I think we might see Hyun-joo in Moving Season 2. According to Kang Full, the creator of both series, Moving and Light Shop have dropped a lot of hints for future projects. Also, in Moving, Na-joo’s daughter is actually still alive. She didn’t die. There’s a scene at her mother’s funeral that confirms she survived. She has clairvoyant abilities, so I think she might plot revenge against Frank in Moving Season 2. Frank, the CIA agent, is classified as F-rank. That means there must be A, B, C, D, and E ranks as well, right? Korean superhumans barely managed to defeat an F-rank like Frank. So what would an A-rank agent be like? And another twist in Moving—Hee-soo’s friend, Shin Hye-won (the student who was bullied), turned out to be working for the National Intelligence Service. On top of that, she held a high position. I think we might see more of her story too. Young-tak, the time-stopper, and the grim reaper-like detective from Light Shop play incredibly important roles in Kang Full’s other work, Timing. I feel like we’re about to see a massive Kang Full universe unfold. I’m really happy that Kang Full is finally getting recognized internationally. He’s already a hugely famous writer in Korea. When I was in middle school, I read a lot of his comics in my school library. He’s created many works in his “superhuman series,” and what makes it so exciting is that they all share the same universe!

2025-01-31 18:53:12 +0000 UTC"Moving" and "Lighting Store" are works by the author Kang Full that share the same universe. In addition to these, there are other works set in the same world, with the most popular one "Timing." The character who appeared at the end of this episode 8, the time controller Kim Young-tak, is the protagonist of "Timing." (To compare it to Marvel, Kim Young-tak is like Iron Man—he's that significant and popular, essentially the main character of this shared universe.) Many people who watched the drama Moving found its title somewhat difficult to interpret. But if you see the other works in the same universe helps clarify its meaning. "Moving" literally refers to move + ing, a story about superhumans with the ability to move in extraordinary ways. Similarly, "Timing" is about time + ing, focusing on characters with time-related abilities. The original Moving webtoon wasn’t particularly popular, but thanks to the drama’s success, s2 is now in the works. However, the author hasn’t started writing it yet…
