All I know about this ost ( ETERNAL LOVE) was originally from Michael Learns To Rock...

2025-01-13 04:38:12 +0000 UTCI love this OST. I was obsessed with it for a while the first time I watched this. It actually fits. It feels hopeful, like somebody having your back. Also, don't want to spoil it, but I find your theory interesting that this is a lost princess/disney story. But that's part of the fun of watching your reaction. We all think differently.

2025-01-12 19:20:20 +0000 UTCThe OST is not familiar cuz it was done by a Danish band. They sold records in Asia and sang in English. Sounds like something Air Supply would sing though and it's a bit catchy...haha There's definitely some cringe moments but the I think it still holds up pretty good, considering it's been a decade.

2025-01-12 18:58:02 +0000 UTCThe situation with Jeong Hoo's mom is very sad and she left him for more than one reason. But generally speaking, sadly, it was common to see (in the past) widowed women getting remarried and leaving their child behind. And I certainly grew up seeing such things in movies and dramas. There are different reasons for that. One, if the widowed woman is young, usually her late husband's parents want to support her new life by encouraging her to start with a clean slate. Two, the parents of her "new husband" usually don't like it when their son has to raise someone else's child so they only approve the marriage if she comes with no child (assholes! but it is what it is). Three, the child is also the grandchild of her late husband's parents and will always have blood relation to that family, so sometimes it is thought better to leave the child with more blood-related family than bringing him/her to a brand new one with no blood-relations ( especially considering the first two reasons. backwards days they were, indeed).
