Mustang Redraw
Added 2021-07-09 02:51:44 +0000 UTCBack in 2012, early into my furry art intro and way before learning any passable anatomy, I drew this horse boy with cringe-worthy native tropes. look upon ye olden art and weep :')
The following year I did a redraw of the same piece, this time saturating the FUCK out of everything in yellow.
Still, the anatomy was at least a tad better and I was putting more effort into the shading, but seriously overusing the overlay layer.
So this is my 2021 redraw. The same horse boy but with significant advances in anatomy, lighting and color. Maybe in a couple years I'll draw him again and we'll see the difference!
