To Harris and Justin, have you guys not seen Terminator Genisys? The ML played the role of T-1000 there, the liquid metal cop. When I first watched Mr. Sunshine, I was amazed to recognize him from Terminator. I didn't realize he was actually a well-known Korean actor. Anyway, yes, this writer Kim Eun Sook has written a lot of good dramas. I hope you check out The King: Eternal Monarch sometime. This writer likes bringing back actors/actresses that she likes, so you'll see Kim Go Eun again on this one, as a detective who can kick ass, just like she brought back Song Hyekyo from DOTS in The Glory. She likes writing about strong women characters.

I think I'll just wait for the weekend 😁 Mr.sunshine is 24 episodes, so you may feel a little looser because it has longer breathing than other dramas, but you can be more immersed in it because it shows the narratives of all the characters 👍

In the play, Ae-shin does not want to live as a gentle woman. She is a character who tries to live as a fighter who protects the turbulent Joseon Dynasty, so I like her role. You can see her beliefs by looking at the works chosen by actor Kim Tae-ri. This is why I like actor Kim Tae-ri.

Lee Byunghun was actually 47 in real life at the time of airing but his character is not 47. Online it says the character was born in 1863 and the shows is around 1905 so he is around 40 (or less than that)
